Our Junior Football kits are durable enough to take the rigors of playing week after week, yet it feels as soft and flexible as cotton and is very color fast! It will not fade! This highly versatile fabric is ideal for all highly active junior teams at any level.

The football kit fabric
One of the great properties of polyester for Junior Football is that it has fantastic wicking properties which draw moisture away from the body. Wicking fabrics are also refered to as being breathable – that is, they let air in and sweat out. Breathable fabrics have tiny pores in the fabric, larger than water vapour molecules (so these can get out) but much smaller than drops of rain (so these can't get in).
Unlike cotton, our high-tech polyester absorbs very little water, Cotton will absorb 7% of its weight in water, polyester only 0.4%. Cotton will therefore hang onto your sweat, making your garment heavy and unpleasantly clammy. Instead, water is carried along the fibre, away from the body and evaporates from the surface of the clothe So you stay cool and dry. Polyester will only absorb 0.4% of its weight of water, compared to 4% for nylon and 7% for cotton.
Polyester is a very quick-drying, but even when wet its strength is hardly affected. Polyester is also a great easy care fabric. It is very resistant to creasing. This is because it has a high thermal stability - it has a very high melting temperature of 200ºC. The fabric is set in shape with high heat during manufacture and keeps its shape well once set, so it sheds accidental creases easily but retains deliberate pleats or moulding.

Parma kit: £199 for 15 children's kits, £229 for 15 youth kits. Two-coloured premium quality kit, using high tech Taslan fabric to make a kit that is both showerproof while retaining excellent wicking and breathability properties.

Names, numbers, embroidered badges and printed logos may be added to our kits as part of the kit design process.
